Fritjof Capra writes, “the members of an ecological community derive their essential properties, and in fact their very existence, from their relationships.”
The flow of energy from the sun, the water cycle from lakes, rivers, oceans and forests evaporated and then precipitated back to earth. The way minerals are cycled from the metabolic processes of soil organisms, humans, animals, fish, birds, and all the geo – physical processes (weathering, teconic plate shift, volcanoes). The dynamics of natural communites; birth, youth, adolescence, maturity, death, and decay, to re-birthand and regeneration. The beneficial, mutual, paracitic, and destructive relationships between each community member, and disturbences that occur within life of the of each member, and the community as a whole. There are environmental disturbances like floods, fires, tornados, outbreaks of diseases and pests. All these and many more are life’s conditions that we are have very little power to control, but all of these disturbances affect the lives of all living creatures. We are all interconnected and depend upon each other for our existence.
